Quick Clip: Saku Koivu Interview About Life

Koivu teaches us about life, setbacks and hockey.

Koivu’s modo is “whatever has happened… you can’t change… Try to take the positives with you… Learn from your mistakes… Try to conquer the next goal in front of you.”

FYI: Koivu created the Saku Koivu Foundation after his battle with cancer in 2001. Its mission was to raise the $8 million required to purchase a PET Scan machine (used to detect cancer), which he later donated to the Montreal General Hospital (where he was treated).

So if your feeling generous… head on over to the donation page… you’ll sleep better tonight.
