Night in and night out games in Canada sell out and the tickets are not cheap and/or given away. The CBC will be paying the NHL 100 Million dollars a season to air games. Canadian teams are enjoying great individual success with their individual TV rights. Why in a league of 30 teams are 6 teams carrying the burden and raising well over 1/2 of the revenue for the NHL?
