The Atlanta Thrashers are still the only winless team in the NHL, and there were no signs of an effort to change that tonight as the Philadelphia Flyers steamrolled the Thrashers 4-0. The Thrashers, despite having offensive superstars Ilya Kovalchuk and Marian Hossa, are still the only team in the league to not hit the 10 GF mark yet, having only accumulated 9 goals in 6 games (this was Atlanta’s second time being shut out in three games). They are also tied with the Kings for the second most goals allowed in the league, trailing only Toronto’s 29. If we were to include the Thrashers getting swept by the Rangers earlier this year in the first round of the Playoffs, the Thrashers have lost 10 straight games.

Almost all of the Atlanta Thrasher fans are saying that Bob Hartley’s clock has run out, and many are even saying that he’s out of Atlanta by Thursday. GM Don Waddell has also received a giant amount of criticism for depleting the team to get rental players for one Playoff run, which as I mentioned above, only lasted 4 games. Do you believe that Bob Hartley and/or Don Waddell will be fired soon?
