Here are some interesting stats on the top 100 all-time scorers:

86% of their 40-goal seasons occurred when the players were under 30

Only 24% of the time did these players reach 80 points in a season after the age of 30

61 % of the point leaders and 52% of the goal leaders had their career high in points or goals by the age of 25

Over the past 20 years, 85% of players in the top 10 were 30 or under - and only six times has a player over 34 finished in the top 10

Demographics of the Top 10 scorers for the past 20 years:

18-22 = 15.2%
23-26 = 36.8%
27-30 = 32.8%
31-34 = 12.3%
35 plus = 2.9%
