Best Performance on a Terrible Team

Bure

I was browsing through Pavel Bure’s stats, and this really jumped out at me…

In 2000-01 with the Florida Panthers, Bure had 59 goals and 92 points. The next highest total on his team was 14 goals and 37 points, by Viktor Kozlov.

Bure had over 20 more goals than anyone else had points!

No wonder he cherry picked so much… someone had to score.

So my question for you is… What are some other outstanding point performances on an absolutely brutal team?

Another good one…

In Ovechkin’s rookie season he had 52 goals and 106 points in 81 games. The Capitals next best performer was Dainius Zubrus with 23 goals and 57 points in 71 games.

Damn that team sucked…
