Love him or hate him, I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am sick and tired of seeing Crosby on every NHL Network commercial.
I know he is good for the sport and all, but my goodness… He had better end up being one of the greatest players ever for all of the air time he gets. Personally, I think Malkin is better than he is, but he doesn’t get half the love Crosby gets.
Somebody please let me know if I’m the only one who feels this way.

You wanna compare him to Lemieux? Go ahead. Ovechkin is a better match though - too good for defense. Just stand on the blue line till the underlings deliver the puck. Although… I believe Crosby has attended the Limieux School of Diving and from what I’ve seen, he must have finished bottom of the class.
You wanna compare him to Gretzky? It’s a stretch… Gretzky had a lot more skill. But he was also pampered by the refs and was a media darling.
You wanna compare him to Orr? Don’t even try. The only way Orr and Crosby should be used in the same sentence is point out that Crosby is no Orr and never will be.
Bottom line… Malkin is twice the player Crosby is and not even remotely as annoying.
John: Try watching Malkin and Crosby play while wearing earplugs. Without the announcers gushing about Crosby every couple seconds, you’ll see who the better player is.
