It’s now time to take a look at the defensive side of this year’s Team Canada, that means both the defensive corps and the goalies.
On defense, Canada is lucky to count on six guys who are returnees from the Super Series that took place a few months ago. In fact, the only defenceman [...]

NHL Attendance Problems
December 17th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Win % when leading
December 15th, 2007 · 2 Comments
From Nhl.com, Leafs and Habs stats so far this season. Our win % is greater when leading after 1, than after 2. That is insane! And we have never come back after trailing in ANY period. Makes you think that if the Habs had some consistency, it could be a hell of a team.

October 11, 2000, a day to be remembered. Hometown boy Darby Hendrickson launched the Wild into existence and put them ahead 1-0. There was one guy though, that really made an impact on me; Wes Walz tallied a few points in the tie but it was his work ethic that really impressed me. No question, [...]

No such thing as “team” in the NHL
December 8th, 2007 · 3 Comments
You would think after winning the Stanley Cup together, a group of guys would have some sort of bond, that it wouldn’t just be all about the money, that there’s actually respect for the game and teammates, etc. But, look at the Neidermayer situation.
Neidermayer could easily volunteer to sign a new contract with the Ducks [...]
